GORDON GLYN-JONES - BIOGRAPHY

Development & past work
Born in Zimbabwe, Gordon now lives and works in London. He studied Fine Art at Michaelis Art School in Cape Town.
In his capacity as an arts journalist has edited a range of culture titles and written freelance pieces for: BBC, Dazed & Confused, Contemporary Art Magazine. As a travel writer he has engaged with over 50 countries worldwide.

Visual Art
He has worked on various individual art projects such as 'The Visual Language Dictionary' (completing a drawing day for 500 days) He now dedicates the majority of his time to painting and is working on anew body of work for a second solo show later in the year. He will be showing in a group show in London in October, the fourth incarnation of 'Human Nature' which investigates humanity's troubled relationship with the environment.

Painting: Current paintings explore the question of how we dovetail with natural world. 
Drawing: Drawings investigate the structural and metaphorical essence of kites.
